Admission:
Do you charge for parents to watch?
- Yes, we do on all regular skating sessions. The admission rate varies depending on the session. Please see our Admission Policy Page.
If my friends are coming to skate, do I need to pay if I’m only going to hang out?
- Everyone entering must pay the applicable admission and skate rental fee.
Do you offer group rates?
- Yes! Please contact us for more information. Reservations strongly recommended. We offer special rates for Licensed Day Care Providers during school breaks & other select times throughout the year.
Dress Code:
- No Tank Tops, Low-Cut Tops, Halter Tops or Midriffs
- All tops must have sleeves and be full length.
- No oversized pants: Pants must be worn above the hips.
- No "Short" Shorts.
In order to uphold our reputation in the community, as well as to provide wholesome, safe and fun sessions for our customers, we reserve the right to set standards for conduct, dress and appearance of our skaters. Dress or grooming that is too casual or draws too much attention is not acceptable.
We will not permit behavior that is not up to our standards.
Food:
Do you sell food?
- Yes! Searcy Skate offers handmade Pizza, Hot Dogs, French Fries, Corn Dog Nuggets, Popcorn Chicken, Pretzels, Nachos & Candy. We also offer Pepsi products.
Can I bring in food from the outside?
- We do not allow outside food or drinks. The only EXCEPTION we allow during our open skating sessions, is a birthday cake and you MUST have a birthday party reservation.
Other Info:
Will you donate something to my child’s school auction?
Yes! Searcy Skate is happy to donate products/services to non-profits. Please stop in during any of our public sessions.
Does Searcy Skate do cash sponsorships?
Yes! Any non-profit is eligible to do a fundraisers with us.
Can I use my laptop and go online at Searcy Skate?
No, not at this time. We are unable to find a WiFi provider that will give us enough bandwidth to satisfy our customer's data usage.
Music/Entertainment:
Do you take requests for songs?
Yes, we have a music library with over 75,000 songs. Our DJ will make every effort to get your favorite song on!
(Please note: not all music is appropriate for all open all skate times. If you ask the DJ, he or she will tell you if we can play a song.)
Parties:
Can I rent Searcy Skate privately?
Yes! We offer Exclusive Events on select days of the week. Checkout our parties page for more information.
How far in advance do I need to make party reservations?
As a rule of thumb, Parties during public skate sessions should be reserved at least 2 weeks in advance. Exclusive events require at least 14 days to as much as 6 months. Best advice is to plan ahead.

What forms of payments do you allow?
Cash, Visa, MasterCard
Do you have an ATM?
No. Unfortunately we do not have an ATM on the premises. Fortunately we do accept VISA and Mastercard at the ticket office, snack bar and skate room.
Can I pay with a check?
Sorry, we do not accept personal checks.
Skates:
What size skates do you rent?
Regular Skates: Juvenile size 8 to adult size 15.
Inline Skates: Adult size 3 to adult size 15.
Speed quads: Adult 3 to adult size 13.
Can I bring my own skates?
Yes. We allow all kinds of regular roller skates and inline skates. Your own skates must be safe and clean.
Can I wear my Heelys?
Sorry, because Heelys do not have wheels in the front and back and are not intended for “roller skating” they are not permitted.
Do you sell skates and equipment?
Yes! The Skate Shop has all the latest skates and products.
Skating:
What goes on during Open All Skate Times?
Most open all skate times are set-up with a variety of special skates: All-Skate, Backwards, Races, Couples. During daytime and family-oriented open all skate times, we also do the Hokey Pokey, Cha Cha Slide and play games.
If my child doesn’t skate well, can I walk on the floor to assist him/her?
No, our insurance states that all customers must be wearing skates while on the skating floor. We do rent SkateMate trainers.
Where can I get skating lessons for myself or my child?
Right here at Searcy Skate. We have world class coaches, specializing in Speed Skating. Our floor guards can also help you during the skating session.
Video/Redemption Games:
Do the games take quarters or tokens?
YES! we have redemption games and all our video games are coin operated. They also use rechargeable game cards.
